How CBD can help for Pancreatitis

Let’s look at how CBD can help for Pancreatitis.
Pancreatitis occurs when the pancreas, an abdominal gland located in the upper abdomen behind the stomach, becomes inflamed. Those who struggle with the pain and inflammation that come with pancreatitis welcome any kind of relief. Although certain medications can help relieve pain and reduce inflammation, they can also have severe side effects.
CBD may be an alternative treatment method to relieve these and other symptoms of pancreatitis
Patients with pancreatitis often feel a constant pain in the upper abdomen that radiates to the back, and in some cases, the pain can be disabling. Other symptoms are diarrhea and weight loss caused by poor absorption of food. This malabsorption occurs because the gland does not release enough enzymes to break down food. In addition, diabetes can develop if the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas are damaged. Other symptoms may include swelling of the abdomen, nausea, dehydration, bleeding, infections and vomiting. Fortunately, CBD may be an alternative treatment method to relieve these and other symptoms of pancreatitis, but it does not carry the same risks as other medications.

Has anyone tried CBD oil for pain? – Pancreatitis
I’ve been wearing a .25 mcg fentanyl patch for pain for 2 years. I hate it and want to wean off. I’m going down to the lowest dose , 12.5 next week. I live in Georgia. My gastro registered me for a medical marijuana card. It’s illegal to grow it it Georgia. This should change in the near future. I’ll have to buy it in another state until the law is changed. Has anyone has success with low thc cbd oil? I’ve been told I’ll need to take the oil with a creon. Thoughts anyone?

I have RA (rheumatoid arthritis) for 20 years and CBD oil helps me VERY MUCH. I rub it in and in 15 to 20 minutes no pain in hands. I have EPI now and learning to deal with that. I have a lot of auto immune diseases but do not take pain medicines for at least 6 to 8 months. CBD oil worked for me and I was a skeptic.

I have had CP for almost 6 years now. The daily pain that comes with this disease is no joke and the flare up pain is unbearable. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been admitted to the hospital. I also take a lot of pain medicine just to function from day to day. I’m now permanently disabled (I’m 47) and am a shadow of who I used to be. CBD oil works better than anything else I’ve tried – I only wish it would last longer. And it’s expensive where I live.

Was literally HELL trying this. Oil is fat, fat = inflamed pancreas!
I tried many different kinds of the oil as well as gummies, candies, etc and it was a full blown attack or close to it with a bonus of burning reflux.
Like everything else some people will do just fine and others feel like they are going to die, or nothing happens at all.
Tread carefully as I know from personal experience desperation can lead us to try anything and everything.
I survive by super low fat diet less than 25 grams a day and for my size 40 grams of protein a day. I fair far better with easier to digest foods like low Fodmap options. No coffee, obviously no alcohol, plant enzymes with all food Now brand currently works for me as prescription versions all have pork and I have pork allergy, no wheat rye barley gluten again another allergy, no soy due to medication interaction, dairy is an issue for me, I do better with moist food, and I have to stay super hydrated.
